About Ryan Weiss
Lifelong Hatfield resident. Father. Educator. Neighbor.
Ryan Weiss is a lifelong Hatfield resident, father, educator, small business owner, election worker, and community advocate preparing to run for Hatfield Township Commissioner in Ward 5. Born and raised here, Ryan understands that local government should be practical, honest, and focused on the everyday issues that affect residents: safe neighborhoods, reliable services, strong communication, and making sure people feel heard.
Ryan’s background includes work in education, youth support, public safety, and civic service. He owns Solve That Jawn, LLC, where he works with students and families through math tutoring and academic coaching. He also served seven years with the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety’s 911 Center as a police dispatcher and 911 call-taker. His civic experience includes currently serving as Judge of Election for Hatfield Township Ward 5-2, volunteering as a panelist with the Montgomery County Youth Aid Panel, and past service on the boards of directors for both the Lansdale Public Library and the North Penn School District Educational Foundation.
At the heart of Ryan’s campaign is a simple belief: local government should feel local. It should be built on trust, service, follow-through, and real relationships with the people who call Hatfield home. Ryan is preparing to run because he believes Ward 5 deserves steady, approachable leadership that listens first, works hard, and puts the community above politics.
